This video is a reflection on life and death, on relativity of these two states. The brevity of life and transience, and conversion from one form to another, sometimes only because of the utility.

Imagery and incongruous juxtapositions

Two close together, contrasting and opposite images in Andrej Tismas work created powerful disturbing effect, although the intentions of the artist are deliberate and well planned, it almost looks accidental as my brain is making quick decision telling that this can not be real... and asking me not to look at those incongruous images.

Those two things - images, close to each other, we hardly see together.. and that is what viewing can make disturbing.

The images of food, I am trying to see as an abstract images, removed from the juxtaposition of the opposite image. I can see highly decorated cooking books, huge advertisements on billboards advertising fast food.. and at the same time I can see lovely piglets and chickens in my garden.. running around.
Absurd is that I as a subjective observer of the images I am forced to connect and somehow I am finding them aesthetically pleasing, what can be disgusting, I presume, for so many other observers. I can see the beauty in unusually arranged elements which are placed side by side.

Well done Andrej..... by Veselinka
